Pray, work and rest like a monk!

 

 

 

Today was an unforgettable day full of new experiences . At 10 a.m., the group set off on a trip to the famous Meteora monasteries . They had the opportunity to visit one of the monasteries from the inside , where they learned about the daily life of the monks. It was fascinating to discover that their day is carefully structured into 8 hours of prayer , 8 hours of work , and 8 hours of rest . 

Later, they visited a local shop , where they learned about the traditional process of gilding religious icons . It was a unique and unusual experience that allowed them to see craftsmanship up close. 

 

At the end of the trip, they stopped at the Greek fast-food chain Goody’s , where they could relax and enjoy a meal together . After returning to the hotel , they had some free time to rest and reflect on the day.
